The state of California legalizes cigarettes and spends millions of dollars to sponsor anti-smoking commercials on TV. Good plan or not so much?
It would be a better plan to target the schools directly starting in grade 5. Kids who learn early that smoking is terrible for you are more likely to retain the view they are taught. Just my opinion.

No. I just wanted to include the fact that they're legal here to emphasize the commercials aspect.
It's good because that's what the taxes collected from cigarette sales are supposed to be spent on. That's an example of a govt working right.
