Realistically, considering your ethnic, religious, and racial heritage and the lack of knowledge you would have at the time. Would you have been a Loyalist or a Patriot in the Revolution?
The British monarchy has been illegitimate since 1688 anyway.
I'm guessing you're a Stuart/Stewart supporter?
George where do you want me
I believe I would have been a moderate. England was being completely unfair with its taxes, but even after the Olive Branch Treaty was rejected, I would not have been in favor of war.
This question was a little hard for me to decide on. But I felt like I would be persuaded to be a patriot.
Long live the King!!! I would never betray my dear dear England.
I am less sure about this one than I am about confederate/union.
Did you just call me a Tory?
I'm not calling you a Whig so what do you think
I'd pull a Rip Van Winkle and pass out drunk until it was over.
I probably would have been a loyalist. To be honest, the tensions were more because they were being controlled by a foreign power than any actual infringements.
Would I rather be an extension of England or some floundering country across an ocean from the rest of the world.
Wouldn't that be a rebel and not a patriot?
Is this assuming my ancestors were here and not in Europe?
Yes assuming that as well
Well, assuming that, most Jews sided with the patriots. Heck we helped raise money to help pay off part of the first us debt.
