What are your feelings on sign holders dressed in costume or not, flipping signs or still? Creative job opportunity or unnerving to watch?
Some of them are really good and fun to watch. Others are pretty boring. It's a job though so good for them.
Unless it is just an entry level starter job (qualification)
A waste if time and money - and a terrible job. Especially I the sign says "the end is near". Lol
Why are they so excited!?
Because the mattresses are factory direct!!!
It's so awkward here!
Wtf am I suppose to do? Wave back?
When someone's wearing a giant costume, I never know if I should look them in their fake plastic eyes or into the characters mouth, where the person's head is. Awkward.
I had to do it for. Pizza place... We all rotated through shifts and we all hated it. Poor marketing.
Did you dress like a ninja turtle?
It works sometimes or they wouldn't be doing it
Just put up an ordinary sign and cut the drama.
Yes, I've never been enticed to buy collectables because a teenager in a banana costume was twirling a sign for a store.
There was an older gentlemen who was a sign twirler next to my old house. He was pretty awesome to watch. He'd put his headphones on and dance all day. Crazy dances, like break dancing and stuff. He seemed to enjoy it, and hey if it pays the bills...
I just can't imagine anyone possibly being motivated to visit a store because of these folks...
Have you ever seen the Liberty Tax folks dress like the Statue of Liberty? I have only seen a couple of women dressed as Lady Liberty. It's weird.
Holy cow, no. I've only ever seen the guys dancing with the sign. Maybe a few dressed up for Halloween, now that I think about it.
Teen guys dressed as a woman statue with earbuds in, boppin' along and wearing a giant foam hand. Yeah... never had my taxes done there.
A job is a job, whatever pays the bills.
You should find a job that you have a passion for, not just pay the bills. That us what separates the successful from the slackers.
