Which annual natural occurrence do you think is more beautiful: Fall leaves, or Spring flowers?
Flowers in Texas, but everywhere else I love the leaves
I may be the only person ever to hate spring but that is when my allergies go nuts so no pretty flowers for me
I love driving to Rib Mountain or the Eau Claire Dells in fall. They are both such beautiful places to go on a run.
There's nothing I love more than when the flowers start blooming in the spring.
The Adirondack Mountains in the fall when the leaves are changing is absolutely beautiful
For me it is a draw... I love fall foliage but I also blooming Sakura trees and magnolias
As someone who has worked in park maintenance and landscaping I hate fall! Haha
Going for L-rides on the backroads surrounded by the changing leaves is beautiful and breath taking!
I love autumn and winter, but every season has its perks.
I like it when the green leaves and grass start coming back in the spring. I get sick of the cold, snowy winter pretty fast.
Fall leaves are a pita
As a transplanted Texan originally from the midwest, I miss the beauty of autumn colors.
Love both, but the changing colors of the leaves is my favorite because hubs and I were married in the autumn. It's always great to have another year with my man. ????
The "????" Was a kissing emoji, which apparently doesn't translate onto SOH. Ha!!
I dislike the fall b/c it means Winter is coming (which I despise). And I love the Spring b/c it means Summer will be here. BUT...I love the fall colors we get up here, there's nothing like em. Go figure!
that's how I feel, too. if we could get the fall colors and then just skip winter and go right to flowers popping back up, that'd be great. haha
Winter is beautiful
the snow is pretty until I have to drive in it. haha
Loving the fall colors now !
Ah, how I miss both!
Fall can be majestic. Flowers are great but usually in bunches.
We don't have too many pretty leaves here in south central Texas, but our spring wildflowers are magnificent.
I think both are equally beautiful. However autumn leaves, once they're off, are the harbinger of a long New England winter, while spring flowers signify that the cold is thankfully coming to an end sometime soon...
Both. My favorite "season" is when they change.
guess that depends on your location both are nice around here. but I favor the flowers in the spring
The spring prairie flowers in Colorado are nice, but nothing beats the aspens in the fall.
Spring flowers generally bring hayfever. Although around here the trees seem to think it's Second Spring.
Fall is my favorite season and the leaves are beautiful, but even more beautiful are blooming wildflowers. (Especially California Poppies)
Well , I know autumn leaves have beautiful red, yellow and brown shades of color ,but I always looked at trees losing leaves as the "end" of something. Instead, Spring flowers gives me the sensation of the beginning of something new, new sensations
Here in LA all you get are palm trees.
Considering you never get to see anything bloom in Wyoming I have to go with fall.
Autumn flowers! Majority of my favourite flowers bloom in the fall, and it seems they get forgotten about all too frequently. It's one of the biggest reasons purple is my favourite colour! :')
I live in Vermont..... Nuff said!!
Leaves are fun to jump in
Well, flowers are always a fine and beautiful natural adornment, but what I "think" is better and feels better to ME:
This isn't about fall or spring but blooming flowers after winter and colorful leaves for Halloween time.
The only seasons I know are humid and hot and less humid and hot.
Ask me again in April and I may change my mind.
Don't have to take and sweep all the pretty flowers. Plus I step in lots more dog poop in the fall. How can fall leaves be pretty? They look so much like dog poop.
Fall sucks! It's things dying. Spring is new life, way better.
Love fall colors too. But so many more colors & variety in spring.
I lived 16 years in Memphis. Nothing can beat Spring flowers in Tennessee. The flowers come in waves. First tulip trees, then redbuds and dogwoods, then quince bushes and fruit trees, finishing with magnolias, wisterias and crape myrtles. Awesome.
The state tree of Virginia is the dogwood, but I've never seen one. Are they more common in the mountainous region?
Memphis is located in the flat part of Tennessee. There weren't any mountains there, but there were plenty of dogwoods. I once drove through the mountains in the spring and there were clusters of dogwoods flowering in the forests. About mid April.
Hmm, as a person living in a deciduous forest area this is a tough decision... NOT (oh, I crack myself up). Fall all the way.
I have fall allergies. I definitely love the first signs of spring. Grass turns green. Flowers bloom. Trees bud. I know it will soon be getting warmer.
I love fall, the colors are beautiful. Cannot enjoy a season that makes me miserable like spring
I love all the colors of the leaves.
Makes the ground so pretty
I live in Texas. I have a yard full of fall flowers.
Both are nice, but there's nothing like Boston in the fall.
My favorite seasons are fall and winter.
Spring flowers nothing! Winter/spring is the only time we in SoCal get to see green grass!
Flowers bloom in the spring tralla. We don't have a lot of leaves here. Rainforest.
The wild flowers of central Texas are a sight to see.
I bet they are! :)
Autumn and fallen leaves remind me of death. Very depressing.
This would be an interesting question to also ask in the Spring and see if the results are any different.
