Thank you midnightshadow, you're my 200th follower! I guess I'll go with tradition. Does anyone have a question for me?
Congrats! You really deserve them!
Anyone else? Last call? I'll likely forget this is here soon, haha.
What is you favorite day of the year excluding any holidays and your birthday?
October 1st is my favorite because it is the beginning to my favorite month. :)
How would you describe your followers. Why are they following you?
I have awesome followers. Seems like I have a lot of independent followers. I really don't know why they follow me. Mostly because I followed them first?
Congratulations! My question is : what is the countdown under your name for?
How long until I graduate college. :)
And thank you!!
One more for ya... How did you decide to start posting polls? Did random people start following you so you thought you might as well post questions or did you start asking before followers came?
I had a couple random followers, and I maybe asked 4-5 polls with very little feedback. Then I asked "are you left handed?" on left handers day, SOH featured my poll, and I gained a lot of followers and started asking more. :)
If you HAD to relocate to somewhere other than the U.S., where would you go?
Southern Canada! Haha. I like being American, so I'd pick the closest to America I could. :)
Where are you from?
Kentucky my whole life. Born in southeast, live in centralish ky now.
What was the most fortunate moment in your life. Not most happy, just most lucky, be it to gain something good or avoid something bad?
Wow! Good question. When I was 3 months pregnant I went swimming in the ocean. I was in waist high mostly calm water just standing there and suddenly I couldn't touch and waves were knocking me under. I had gotten caught in a rip current and thought
for sure I would die. I'm a good swimmer but I had no idea what happened, and I could barely catch my breath. I seriously thought I was as good as dead. Call it what you want - I won't try to explain it - but I heard an audible voice tell me to swim
parallel to the shore. I don't think I even knew what a rip current was before that. I swam parallel to the shore and obviously I survived, and my daughter is almost 4 now. I feel very fortunate for surviving that and that she was fine!
Impressive! Yes, you did the right thing, Ilive on an island and know it's better to swim parallel to the shore than fight the current. As for the voice: I don't believe in the supernatural and think you may have heard but "forgotten" and it...
...surfaced (pun intended) in an emergency. This is also my explanation for deja vu - you have seen a similar place or situation but it was buried in the back of your mind, then comes the connection without it re-surfacing.
Yes, I considered that too. That's likely what it was. Like I said, I won't even try to explain it, but I heard something. :) and very thankful I did. I was seriously on the verge of giving up.
Ham or turkey? Pie or cake? There's two for ya! ;-). Congrats by the way!!
Ham! And cake. Wait, is cheesecake pie?! If so, pie! :)
And thank you!
Despite the word "cake" being in the name, I'm going with pie on that. At least that's the way I look at. I'm a pie person myself. And I love cheesepie! Lol. I make a pretty mean pumpkin cheesecake!
Yes I agree with you. And I love pumpkin cheesecake.
Gee No, but congratulations
Thank you :)
No one wants to know all my deep dark secrets? I guess that's good! Haha
Where did you and ff180 meet
I can actually answer this one... That's weird... lol
We met online in a chat room in 1998 at 15 years old. He lived in Michigan, I lived in Kentucky. We were friends from then until 2011, when we finallyyyy met in person. We were married 6 weeks later. :)
Thanks. We celebrate our second anniversary in 10 days. :)
