If you have a minor medical discomfort such as moderate headaches every day and don't know the cause, do you get it checked out or suffer through the pain
Pain is an indicator that something is wrong. I get it checked out.
Go to the doctor!!
I've been having a weird stomach pain for 3 weeks now. I'm too stubborn to go to the dr
GPs are horrible diagnosticians. I had headaches for my entire life, at least four days a week. The kind of headaches that will last for days or weeks without OTC intervention. None of the MDs were able to figure out the cause.
Eventually, I stumbled across the cause myself: gluten. I'm friggin' gluten intolerant. No gluten, no headaches.
If you haven't suffered with near constant headaches your entire life, you've no idea how miraculous it seems to not have them.
I've been having the same headache every single day for the past 2 1/2 months. I can't figure it out.
The best suggestion I have is to try an elimination diet and see if that helps.
Headaches (even if they're fairly minor) really do suck, though. Especially when they're persistent.
Although it's not right, I tend to let myself suffer. And I don't take pills unless it's absolutely necessary either.
I hope you all say you'll check it out. My cousin's mild headaches turned out to be stage 4 cancer. She is only in her early 30s.
Next time I'm with the doctor I would bring it up
If there's help available, I'd take advantage of it.
