Where auto bill pay does not offer any discount over manually paying (electronic or otherwise) a bill, will you opt in?

My life is pretty much all electronic and I use auto bill pay for all my utilities. Typically they send me an electronic statement 2 weeks before my payment is due.

There are some bills that I have arranged to be paid automatically - if the charge is always the same. But for credit cards and utility bills, I want to *have* to look at the bill before paying it, just so I'm aware of what I'm spending.

Yes, I hate having to take time out to pay the bills.

Not generally. I like to HAVE to examine the bill/charges each month before I pay it.
Flip side is, I've forgotten from time to time. Just slipped my mind, even though I've got the money to pay it.

Call me paranoid, but the extra effort is worth not giving companies a recurring blank check...I've heard too many horror stories.
