You've found a time travel device with a one way trip to either 100 years in the future or 100 years in the past. Which do you choose?
I've been to the past. FORWARD!
Being plunked into the middle of two world wars and a Great Depression doesn't sound much different than our situation today. I'll take a gamble on the future.
Knowing the Great Depression was coming, but having the fun of all the new things in America.... Knowing some much advancements and what was to come.... I think I could make a nice home for myself back in the 1910's
So in the midst of darkness there is always great hope?
One way? I'd be a fish out of water in the future. With the knowledge I have, I'd be a king in the past.
We can be neighbors and do Forward Thinking Business together
RJ you could be a high school biology teacher.
I'd go back to stop the FED and enjoy a life without marijuana prohibition.
I've seen half of the last hundred years - I'd rather skip ahead another hundred to see if I'm finally getting my anti-grav boots, flying car, and that vacation dome on Mars I've been dreaming about.
I should have mentioned going back also takes me through two world wars and a cold one, a few epidemics, prohibition, a dust bowl, and to a time before air conditioning or the InterWeb. Not looking all that great.
Zod, you really want those antigravity boots. You have spoken about them wishfully quite a few times.
I really do! The older, weaker, and more clumsy I get, the more I see unmodulated gravity as the enemy.
I would rather have the advantage of knowing the future than the disadvantage of being ignorant of the prior century.
Go back and stop The Fed!! ????
That's what I was thinking
I thought about that but I'm a female so I'd go back to live in a looney home if I said stuff like that.
