Can you understand 2-year-old-speak?
If you are a parent, I think you understand it. I know I learned it quickly but other people, also parents couldn't understand my child so I think each two year old may have their own language only their parents can really understand.
Yes, but she's three now.
I can understand my two yr old. I can understand my two yr old niece. I can not understand all two yr olds. I think I need to know the kid to understand them.
We're you referring to Abraham?
No, actually. My cousin sent me a video of the little girl she babysits. 10x more confusing than Abraham.
I have a 2 year old right now. So yeah we communicate :)
My little guy will be 3 in nov so I'm pretty good at it. Better then my wife. He talks really well but sometimes I know what it is he is trying to get across and she doesn't.
We have a 3yo in our house, but it's the opposite here. I am the one who often has to translate for my husband. I'm at home all the time, so I have more context & probably more patience for listening.
It's so awkward, because I can't... At all, and I feel like most other people can.
Well, you're not alone anymore!
Thank god, I honestly thought there was something wrong with me. I'm just not good with little kids, sigh...
Same! And people are like, "You're 17 and female, you should babysit!" And I just think, no...
I've been working with toddlers for 15 years now so I'm pretty good at it
After having 3 kids oh yea. It's like my second language.
My parents always say they could understand me but never could and still can't understand many other toddlers. But you've had a more diverse child-rearing experience! I'm just 1 of 1.
Yeah. It's pretty much like figuring out what a dog wants
