Do/did you know what arrangements your parents made in the event of their death?

I know they've made no arrangements - but they want to be creams red

My mom wants to be cremated, small ceremony, little to no life support. We know each other's wishes, as we're our only close family. It's a morbid necessity.

I did. Came in handy when they passed.

Nope. If it's not in their will, I will decide according to my views.

I'll be road-tripping to place my dad's ashes in three different places and I know he has put me in charge of his finances. That's all, though. Mom just says, "I don't know."

Yup - Mom gave us kids each a copy of her living will and final wishes in case dad refuses to honor them when the time comes. He won't talk about it - we'll decide for him, I guess.

My parents are 73 and 71; my Mom told me where to find everything I would need. That said, I still haven't put myself in the frame of mind that they could be gone anytime soon...

Just that they want to be cremated
