Integrity; the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles. (Oxford English)

I think to many people got hung up on the inclusion of the word "moral" in the question.

Moral integrity can be just as evil as it can be good. All it means is being true to your own set of morals, without bending. Empathy and compassion are far more important than the unwaverable belief you are right.

I agree. People can have all kinds of morals that are actually harmful to humanity.

Hell no. The cornerstone of humanity is empathy. If you have no empathy, you are not human.

Disagree. I'm an atheist. Many people believe that means I have no morals (it doesn't)

I think that ingenuity is the cornerstone of humanity.

I can also agree to this. Of the many things that can possibly be the cornerstone of humanity, moral integrity isn't one.

Pls note the definition of niggard is a stingy (selfish) person. Niggardly is the act of being stingy (selfish). They are innocent words that sound bad.

I feel the world is more full of niggards and corruption than ever before.

I'm the ONLY one in my high school I know of that refuses to swear ever. I swear only to myself when no one is around or inside my head when near ppl. Once in a great while I'll have dam it slip out when I'm with other ppl. Some ppl cuss far too much

Don't mean to brag but since I was 14 I've been told I'm a more mature, kinder and smarter than lots of adults from other ppl my age and adults. I owe it to being born smart and having high morals.

It seems like good things happen to bad ppl and bad things to good ppl :(

I fear you've given those words far too much power. Not that I'm advocating swearing like a sailor, but why is this a point of pride for you?

Let yourself live a little my friend. Nothing bad will happen. Or if it does, you'll actually become a better person for it.

I can't help but sneer anytime the world 'moral' is used, so no.

Why? Everyone has their own moral standards, don't they?

smacc DunningKruger

And not all morals are shared. I would more easily agree with integrity alone.

Basically for the aforementioned reason.

So anything goes in your opinion?

I'm curious how that's the conclusion you reach. It seems to me that anything, ABSOLUTELY anything, can be morally justifiable. It just depends upon the set of morals to which you subscribe.

Don't make the mistake of assuming everyone shares your morals, and/or that your morals are the only moral ones.

There are good neutral and bad morals so yes everything can be morally justifiable. But you insinuate that there is no wrong morals, is that true?

General, this is a good opportunity for you to learn. You are very young and there is a great deal of information to be learned from many SOH users.

I absolutely agree with this. I feel moral integrity is seriously lacking in this day and age.
