No going by 5's would still be more simple. The pattern would always end in a 5 or 0. By 4's it could be a 4, 8, 2, 6, 0.

Strangely enough, I have a mate that a small faction of his family goes by 3s and 9s. I didn't really think much on it til you brought this up though.
