MN has over 22 natural food co-ops in the state. With food safety and food security in mind, do you have easy access to locally farmed foods?

I could walk, but it's about 10 miles to the nearest produce stand, and there are at least 600 vertical feet involved, so I'd rather drive.

I can walk to a produce booth from school, but school is seven miles away from my house... And five miles of it is interstate... I'm not walking that.

We have local farms that sell produce. It takes a car to get out to them

markets in town, and I shop at them occasionally, but that does require a bus ride (I don't drive), so I mostly go with the convenient route.

The Mrs. was smart when choosing our house (as with everything). We have a 20 min walk downhill to her work/our work.

Heh. In the city, if you're walking distance from work, you're DEFINITELY not walking distance from agriculture ;)

Sorry. I'm handyman and she's bookkeeper for Eastside Food Co-op. I also do graphic design for them too. My older daughter works deli and her gf works in produce. Haven't figured out how to get the wee one employed there yet...stupid labor laws.

Bahahaha. When I was like 14 my dad had me doing filing/data entry at his office. It was *just* legal in the state we lived in, haha.

Lots of local agriculture but not WALKING distance, no. I guess some of the farmers markets are within a couple miles.
