Is there anything that you forbid yourself to buy at the grocery store, because you know you'll consume it *way* too fast?
that is a definite weakness of mine :)
Lays Regular Potato Chips.
Nuts- roasted peanuts or cashews. I would eat the while jar so I just have to refrain from buying any at all.
stupid button. anyways - cheese nips. those things are crack
No, cheez its are!
Ice cream. Mint chocolate chip, especially.
Certain cereals, I'll eat it for every meal til it's gone!
I stopped buying ice cream. A gallon a week was getting out of hand.
I've cream anything and dark chocolate.
Shortbread cookies and gingersnaps. When we were sampling stuff but Costco the other day there were several things that were so good, that I rolled my eyes and I did not put them in my cart. Pumpkin flavored almonds was one of them. Far too good.
Half gallon container of ice cream (Blue Bell Pistachio Almond). It calls to me! Only buy a pint.
ooh, I didn't know there was a pistachio almond flavor!
Don't try it!!! It's addictive.
Oreos. I buy them and they're gone the next day. On the couch with a large glass of milk.
any particular kind?
Talenti gelato! I'm usually an ice cream fan also, but our co-op got this in. Their caramel w caramel centered chocolate pieces... Find some!
Talenti is fantastic :)
Are you just trilling for treat ideas? If so that was the best I could do... And you already knew... so sad...;-)
lol, I was lamenting the fact that I wanted some fritos and reese's pieces, but I know better. :p
Reece's miniature peanut butter cups. Not the big or teeny ones. The miniatures have the perfect ratio of chocolate to PB. Keep 'em in the freezer.
That's the truth!
I also like cold peanut MnM's
Teriyaki beef jerky...
I haven't been to a grocery store in over two years. So impulsive buying is not an issue. But if I were to go , I am weak and the temptation could wear me down.
I won't forbid myself but...
Baked lays chips lol
Pirate booty or carmel apple pops. Mmmmm... <3
Blank licorice and fig newtons...not in the same sitting, though that would be interesting.
Trader Joe's Peanut Butter cups. I'll indulge maybe once a year!
Cheese and chocolate.
Alcohol. Bad idea for me.
oh wait, I didn't just say that. nope.
Did you it takes more muscles to frown than it does to take a shot!
Most people are happy when they drink a shot.
No, but I am an admitted glutton.
Certain chips, ice cream, Oreos.
Yuck, too much stuff. Feels like wax in my mouth when there's more stuff than cookie.
too much stuff? say it isn't so! I'll gladly take the superfluous stuff. :)
You got it Emma. We'll just twist off some of the cookies and make you some triple or quad stack Oreos. How's that sound? I get the leftover cookie parts.
Emma I'm just gonna leave this right here...
We don't keep potato chips, ice cream, or cookies in the house. Mama bear has no self control, so they are forbidden.
White chocolate or yogurt covered pretzels. Can not eat one. Will eat the entire thing.
Ice cream. If I do buy it, I only get a pint or smaller. Never a half gallon.
Spicy Sweet Chili Doritos for sure!
mmm, I haven't tried those yet. maybe I shouldn't...
Ahhh! They're so good! Definitely my favorite kind. If you try them, be aware, you'll be addicted!
Macadamia Nuts. Pure sin in a bottle.
Triple vanilla ice cream. I have no control.
Nutella doesn't stand a chance with me.
Same here. Costco now sells a jug that I think is 11 pounds. Do not go to Costco.
oh dear. you just had to share that bit of knowledge, didn't you?
Gotta be aware of your enemies' locations :-)
I can't stand the stuff. My granddaughter eats it and when I make her a sandwich and get it on my fingers I wash it off instead of lick it off. Peanut butter is a different story.
I avoid it at Costco. I totally understand!
Not currently. I seem to have food issues under control (for a change). There are some things I love but am not eating right now, & it doesn't matter if they're near me or not. When I was housesitting recently I just ignored the stuff I don't eat.
that's great, Susan :)
It's actually pretty amazing. I think it's a result of high-protein, fairly low-carb eating - I almost never feel hungry & I don't have any cravings - plus some stress-reducing measures.
I do love pickled herring.
hmm. interesting. can't say I've ever had it, so I can't judge. :)
My mom ate that when she was pregnant with my sister. I can still remember the smell...34 years later!
Ice cream, cookies.
I eat everything quick.
This is why I never I get invited to people's houses.
oh my, YES!
I lay my fingers off of butterfingers :)
Also.. Grape nuts with honey n bananas. But that's a relatively healthy pleasure.
I had a Nutella crepe the other day it was so good!
Nutella = the devil :)
(in an evilly good way)
Like two bowls and they are gone :(
Our kind or what we call French fries, are really Belgian, Brits call chips, and we named freedom fries because during 2003 we started hating the French because they wouldn't invade Iraq with us?
Did we really do that in 2003? Good lord!
Yep, I remember wondering why. After the British decided to not allow British military action in Syria, a freemen started calling English muffins "freedom muffins"
I'm sorry fredd for our, stupidity, and ignorance.
Quick. Go back to Britain. Lol.
I meant potato chips as in crisps, not fries. I can scoff a whole giant bag if I don't pay attention.
I started with forbidding "junk" and now even if it is in the house I don't eat it except occasionally
wow, that's impressive!
I just don't really like it any more. But it took a few years of forbidding it
