I think bondage is just another word for nothing left to lose. With freedom, one stands to lose quite a bit.
That's must be why she started the bra-less craze at UT in Austin. She set her puppies free along with thousands of other collegiate girls in the 60s.
I love her so much! And I love that you called her Pearl!
How is freedom a loss?
Freedom is about living happily and in harmony.
I don't even understand how that can be agreed with.
Not if I have anything to say about
To me, it means that as long as you have something you care about, there is a chance it can be taken away. As long as that's the case, you're not truly free.
Exactly, I wonder if people are thinking in legal terms.
As a state of mind we all have responsibilities or at least perceived obligations that limit our possibilities.
Your only really free if you have nothing
Reminds me of the movie fight club
"It's only after we've lost everything that we are free to do anything"
You can still lose life and limb, an sanity. It's Impossible to be free then, unless you are dead.
You nailed it.
If you have nothing left to lose than you'd probably have nothing to fear, and fear is be another thing that always holds us back. Like you said the fear of losing your life, but if you didn't have anything left to lose would that still scare you???
