Are you going to let your kids believe Santa Claus exists?

My kids know that Santa isn't one person, but rather the spirit of giving and kindness; anyone being that way is Santa. We give gifts from "Santa" so they see that what's special is the giving, not the acknowledgement that you were the giver.

We write other names on the "from" line too, like cartoon characters, superheroes, and even their made-up characters...anything that will make the recipient smile.

Already doing it now. They love it. It's good for kids to use their imagination. And i really don't see a downside to it.

What do you mean let.. Of course he exists, he lives in your heart, what do you think gives parents the energy to stand in long lines, or decorate, or cook all that food.. Santa is real unless unless your Scrooge..

Some of us passed that point a long time ago.

No.
I would teach them how they got the presents that they did.
Through the hard work of their parent(s) who went out and spent money in order to purchase the gifts they wanted. I don't see the need to lie to them.

Does it worry you that they will one day realize this magical thing has all been a lie and they might wonder what else they have been lied to about?
