Would you buy a house where a murder had taken place?

If it was a gang murder or something like that, no. Anything else, yeah, for sure.

Why not? My current home was an estate sale. I never asked how the prior resident died. I may be living in a house where a murder took place already. It seems pretty safe and un- haunted.

I would, as long as I knew the murderer has been either caught or killed or whatever, as long as he/she is gone. Most residential land has death in its history anyways, be it Native Americans, land disputes, war, riots, whatever.

Most criminals return to their crime scenes, it's part of their trophy and it gives them that satisfaction to relive the event being in the place it happened.

MrLucchese If curious, ask.

If I really liked the house enough, yes.
If there were other options, no.
