Would you be willing to repeal the ACA if it meant equal marriage rights nationwide and an end to the government shutdown?
Can I repeal the ACA and *not* have gay marriage? But an end to the shutdown would be nice.
I'd do it if you did all of that and made circumcision illegal.
That's why I hate piggyback bills.
Benefitting 10% of the population instead of 100% of the population.
This is like some sort of Bizarro Republican proposal.
Nope my kid needs to never be turned away for insurance because of his condition
Marriage equality is already on its way and only affects a small subset of the population. Affordable health care has a greater positive impact that marriage equality. I'm willing to sacrifice my right to marry whom I love to make sure others are...
...taken care of.
My big hope is that the ACA is a step towards a single-payer program.
I'd repeal if we could get a guarantee of a vote on single-payer.
Single payer = demise of quality and affordable healthcare.
I'm not sure I would so it even then. Too many people would vote against it.
Yes! The govt won't fine me if I don't marry another woman...
No just the rest of us who have insurance can pay higher medical expenses so they can recover what you don't pay.
No, now you'll pay more and get less coverage.
My coverage is plenty fine. Don't know about yours
As long as you're ok... :/
That's not the progressive way
Shared this. Good question. I'm all for it.
Thank you! I'm curious to see what the results will be.
Good agreed Susan!
