Individual donations to candidates should remain private (the right to anonymous speech). On the other hand, contributions made by nonhumans, such as corporations, unions, and political action committees, ought to be disclosed to the public.

Sure although by current legal definition those nonhumans are people.

The government does not have to treat all persons the same.

1. The Equal Protection Clause is not *directly* applicable to the federal government.

2. Equal protection dictates only that persons "similarly situated" be treated equally.

I agree. Well I don't think corporations should be able to donate at all, but if they do the public has a right to know.
