Will the first of the annual parade of "Christmas is a fake holiday/Christians stole Christmas from pagans" polls come before or after Thanksgiving this year?
I remember some in the spring.
The first one I saw was posted on October 14, 2013 by MeMilkDud
Probably right after someone says it's "Merry Christmas" and not "Happy Holidays" or that atheists have no business celebrating Christmas. I always hear those first.
I think it happened before Labor Day.
I'm against over regulation but I would support a law that said no Christmas music in public places before thanksgiving...
I have to say that even though I'm atheist, I am offended by others who are offended, at those who say "Merry Christmas!"
Did that make sense?
It is okay to have a menorah in schools. Nativities not allowed though.
Yeah, and at least one virgin sacrifice in each HS.
That made sense EB.
Made perfect sense and I completely agree.
I'm an atheist who celebrates Christmas and says merry Christmas to many people so I can understand this
Please, God, after...
Thanks for starting it.
You are welcome!
Bunch of dopes do that!
There was one like that already Femmeadamwest had it
Seriously? And here I thought that asking a couple of weeks before Halloween would beat them to it.
How long ago?
A month or so ago
Are you sure it was her? I just looked at her questions through September and didn't see anything
That's because I don't have one. He's just wanting to point fingers. He also thinks my polls "do you approve of pre marital sex" and "do you like Ronald Reagan" are conservative bashing questions.
So I would love for you and whoever was out of it enough to like your comment to point out that question
Don't worry I'll wait.
Femme- you just started following me earlier today. Is this why?
Actually no, someone shared one of your questions and when I went to your profile it said I wasn't following you and I actually thought I was and that you just hadn't been asking questions lately,
I think the first poll of that sort happened just now. :-)
You're cracking me up MilkDud.
Do you think there's enough wind in that bag to last all the way 'til Chrismas (the real one, not the pagan one)?
Milk. If there's one thing I have plenty of it's wind. Ha ha.
I for one am practicing my Merry Christmas now to cashiers. It makes them nervous and they start to stutter but the best is when they have no response at all.
Lol why would they react that way?
And I'm fighting with my husband to put up the Christmas wreath. Moving into our bigger apartment, and finally getting everything out of storage. It's so pretty and I have no clue where else to put it at the moment
Because rose they are told not to say it. They can say happy holidays but nothing beyond that. I once said it to a Home Depot cashier as I purchased my xmas wreath and he looked at me as if he didn't understand.
Political correctness has gone to far
Try it in Sears, Penneys and the stuck ups in Nordstrom. They will look at you like you are a crazy person. Christmas? Surprised they haven't ordered a respelling of it like Krismus.
Wow. That's a bit stupid of them. The stores can set whatever policy they want, but for the workers to expect the customers to abide by the same "rules".
