Our educational system is failing our children. They are loosing the ability to be free thinking, persistent, and independent.

Something else: the polarization of our government is my biggest concern because it makes fixing any of the other issues virtually impossible.

Education! Our kids are falling behind and according to a recent study US adults are scoring lower on testing as well. Education is the biggest foundation to a society that can compete globally & were falling behind,

Entitlement reform isn't an option? Trillions in unfounded liabilities. You eventually can't address any of these problems without a budget to do so & the big 3 programs will eat up all gov money before many of us retire.

I voted economy bc welfare would fall under that. We would save a lot more with a tighter welfare system. WAY too many abusers - the situation that happened @ walmart in Louisiana is proof. I am appalled by the lack of character of our society.

Debt... which encompasses almost every other thing on list. Fed too big, doing things has no Constitutional authority to do, spending $ we don't have for things we don't need, sticking their honkin' nose into our lives in ways that mitigate liberty

If they take away our "right to bear arms" they'll have free reign to take the rest of our unalienable rights away.
Even if you don't own guns you must be able to see the VALUE of the FREEDOM to own them.

I chose education. If our children aren't smart enough to make a good budget, or write a convincing essay/speech, then they'll be failing in the same way as our current politicians. Only, they're our future, apparently.
