If the Washington Redskins happened to be named after their former head coach Lone Star Dietz (a Sioux) in order to honor him, would their name still be racist?
Regardless who the team was named after, the last poll taken from several hundred Native Americans found that 90% did not feel the team name is racist. This topic is a clear attempt to cause a diversion away from the more important issues of the day.
You are seriously just a big liberal talking point aren't you Suppressed? No Indian is offended by the Redskins and if they are, they don't understand the heritage. They also are offended at everything under the sun. Who are the only ones calling...
And MilkDud is absolutely right. If a company wants to call themselves Baby Killer Coffee, they have every right to do so. It's up to the market (us) to determine if they are successful with that name.
Dude, YOU asked the question, and it didn't say whether I wanted to change the name.
I love the redneck cliché calling me a talking point.
I agree that the team can call itself whatever it wants.
And I LOVE calling them the "white liberals"! Boo!
Haha! Tell me suppressed. What makes you think I'm a redneck? I am not fit for the honor of being called a redneck. But I thank you for the complement.
Well rednecks are the best people in the world. They are God-fearing, red blooded patriots that are countryfied and love them some good home cookin'! They enjoy the simple things in life because those are the most important. They always have time...
To help a stranger and never ask for or expect anything in return. They know that God, country, and family is the proper order of things. I love rednecks!
