In the early/mid seventies living in southeast Arizona we only had 4 or 5 channels. I Love Lucy, The Dick Van Dyke Show and The Andy Griffith Show were survival staples. Great stuff!

Yes! After watching that, I realize that a lot of TV's most successful shows borrowed a lot of jokes from Lucy.

Biggest fan ever, thanks to my grandma.
I have everything on DVD. I love Lucy, the Lucy show, comedy hour etc.

And I just went to see Lucy on Broadway here in Chicago last year ;)

love it! My parents introduced me to many of the shows/movies/music they had as kids, it's the kind of stuff that is likely to last many more generations than much of the music today.
