I currently reading the book by Elizabeth Smart. Do you remember seeing the ads about her when she was missing?

I remember that. She was kidnapped when she was 14. Was found or escaped 9 months later. Courageous girl

yes, and we were traveling out west in that area that summer. So sad that she went through that. She seems like a strong girl though.

I remember the story from the news, both from around the time she was taken and when she was found, but don't remember ever seeing any of the ads. She seems unbelievably strong.

I remember the day she was reported missing. It was such a horrible thing to happen to the family. It's every parent's worst nightmare. I'm glad Elizabeth is strong enough to go public with her story but I would find the book to painful to read.

I do not remember the ads... The name does sound very familiar though, just wish I could place the face and time when it happened. Was she found safe?

Yeah! She was stolen from her room at 14 from SLC, Utah. She was found after nine months missing. This was several years ago, I can't remember how many. But the guy and his wife are in prison, he's in forever.

I freaking love her. Reading her book... Her hope never wavered. She was miserable, but she just thought of how much she loved her family and wanted to see them again and fought through it. I can't imagine... But she is incredible :)

I think it was around 2002. We lived in SLC when she was captured, but were in AZ when she was found. I was driving when I heard the news. She is an incredible woman.

Thanks guys! I don't think I heard any of he at the time, but I think I have heard about her book being released. I'm glad she was ok!
