Redo: Have you ever driven on a bridge-tunnel? Not a regular tunnel, but a bridge-tunnel.
Hampton roads

Weird, lol, yes, lived in virginia beach for while
Yes! I remember you saying something to that effect, I believe.
You mean a covered bridge? Yes
No, a bridge-tunnel. It's a bridge, then a tunnel. There are around 4-5 in the US.
wait. ..
On top of the tunnel part? No, that sounds dangerous. I drive on the bridge part.
Who drives on top of a tunnel bridge? That's just crazy!
Again no.
Sorry, some misunderstood. Some that I knew wouldn't look in the comments to see that they misunderstood. I just cleared the question up :)
We don't have those puppies out here, and I've never driven on/ through one back in your neck of the woods.
I think there's AT LEAST one in California.
We only have them so the navy can get out to the ocean uninterrupted. I don't think they're the best idea financially for most areas.
Yeah, one in Frisco.
The Oakland Bay Bridge, between San Francisco and Oakland. It consists of two spans that connect with a tunnel through Yerba Buena Island, which is close to the San Francisco side. I haven't *driven* it since I don't drive, but I've been a passenger
many times.
