When downloading apps do you usually read what permissions you allow the app to use?

Yes. I usually deny push notifications.

I almost always read through them. It depends on the app really.

I usually just accept. I bet that's why when I try to uninstall something I often get a message that says I don't have the authority. And shouting at the machine "I OWN YOU! I CAN MELT YOU DOWN TO A POOL OF GOO!" doesn't get me anywhere either.

Probably because you didn't accept microphone privileges

Maybe so. Fortunately though booting up in safe mode usually works too.

Sometimes they want to use really weird functions and I have no earthly clue why.

I ask because some weather app wanted to access to my camera and I really didn't know why it needed that

A lot of times it's a 'Just in case'.
