Imagine back in 2000 Bush and Gore dropped out of the race, leaving a Lieberman-Bill Bradley ticket versus a Cheney-John McCain ticket. Who wins the election?

I would want McCain to win even if I disagree with him a lot. But realistically after the economy crashed anyone could beat the GOP ticket.

Oh I see. Actually I think the evil one would win.

You're calling Lieberman evil?

Cheney by a landslide, as long as he kept McCain reined in, which I think he could do. I don't think Lieberman would have been a serious contender.

Dems wouldn't have gone for Lieberman. He was on to try to get some Repubs to swing.
As you know, he Used to be a good Dem choice. When did he turn? I cant remember.

I could see Cheney winning, for better or worse. Who would you have voted for? ( yes you can say Nader)

I'd have voted for Cheney. No way I'd have voted for Lieberman or Nader in any imaginable scenario, and at that time I still respected both Cheney and McCain even if I didn't agree with either of them on a lot if issues.

Cheney would've been given the election without a doubt.
Notice I didn't say "win".

Nice on the Cheney was comment.

Nice on the Cheney was comment? What are you meaning by that? Are you implying the same thing as 2000 but with Cheney v Lieberman instead of Bush v Gore?

Well, I don't think it would have gone to the Supreme Court...
To but it bluntly, this nation does not have voter fraud problems. It has election fraud problems.

Ok, fair enough. I never said we had massive voter fraud, since I don't see any evidence for it

And what I meant on the Cheney comment was: I agree. He was president for 8 years.

I can say with 100% certainty that if a Cheney-McCain duo ever gets elected, I'm fleeing to Mexico.

Think about how quickly and how irreparably they would f*ck everything up. Cheney would be giving everything to the rich people, shooting people in the face with shotguns, etc. and McCain would be being super old.

Your "super old" comment does not really have anything to do with being vice president...

It was a joke. I assumed that that was obvious...

I know it was a joke, I was more questioning what you had against those two to lead you to make such a joke, and I'm curious what Democrats you might also dislike that much?

Dick Cheney is a war monger, and he played a big part in getting us into that recession a few years back. I dislike McCain for the same reasons that I dislike any typical Republican; his policies don't work. However, anything that McCain would

do is practically inconsequential compared to what Cheney might do.

The thought of Cheney as President gives me hives.

One certainly got that feeling, yes. I pretty much had hives all those years.
