DirecTV's new while-home DVR system, "Genie". It SUCKS!!!! Reboots multiple times a week, forgets to record, loses shows, freezes up daily... They should be embarrassed! And should be class-action sued for breach of contract. I pay, they no play.

U verse. Good when it works. Just like the others. Thought if att had all that experience with phones it was a no brainer. They are.....no brainers.

Never had and never will. It's a waste of money. Anything I want to watch I can watch over the air or stream online for free.

my dad has DirecTv and I made him get NFL ticket so I can watch my Niners game. I wish I could get Central Ice but I don't want to press my luck. He's a Depression born baby and I think he's used to pinching pennies. even though, being a retired Mechanical Engineer @ GM he doesn't have to.

We turned it off a year ago and have loved it! We watch all the same stuff but on our schedule, not the broadcasters. Between hulu, netflix and amazon we pay less than half and have more options!

I had verizon for 2 years but cancelled when my contract ended. I've been without cable or "Internet" since July. I still have my iphone, and Netflix/redbox. Still haven't joined the gym like I fake-planned to do.

Ditched cable over a year ago and never looked back. Best budget decision we've made in awhile. We have Apple TV. We buy a few shows and movies, but mostly watch Netflix.

Would you rather live your own life or watch somebody else's?
I don't hate tv that much. But it's just something I say to I remind myself not to get too sucked in.

Comcast cable primarily for the high speed internet. The TV is just a bonus. I like it, but Comcast isn't really great when it comes to price, reliability, or customer service. The internet is fairly fast though, so it's worth it overall.
