Inspired by SoH poll: have you ever experienced what might have been a paranormal event (seen a ghost, heard a voice, objects move on their own, etc.)?
Yes, that's the kind of event that I would count as a yes vote. It doesn't mean you believe in ghosts- just something happened that isn't so easy to explain away.
I was using a Ouija board once in the middle of the night (lol) and the kitchen trash can just violently fell over on its side. No one was around, no draft, it wasn't off balance. I can't make sense of it but it happened.
A guy I used to work with was renting a house. They had a big dog. For several months, they would get home and he would be outside. Everything was closed/locked as they left them. After talking with neighbors. Someone said the lady who had the house
built was a pain in the ass. According to them the builder told the lady that she would be the death of him. He died a couple days after finishing he house.
He moved shortly after that. I've never been a believer but his story was interesting.
I heard a little girl say "daddy?". The only other person in the house was with me & heard the same thing. It could've been a cat but I never heard a cat say daddy. I don't believe in ghosts but I still wonder about that day.
If it's any consolation, I've heard random word strings at random times in random places since I was 5. I believe in my case it's just my brain being weird, but whatever.
No, I've never experienced anything odd or scary. I wish I would so I could know what it's like. I think if I experienced it, it would help me believe in it.
That's pretty cool, have you seen them or anything? My bathroom is just creepy and it gives you an eery feeling. You can get cold chills in there on a 100 degree day lol

Sometimes in my room i will feel a gust of wind, almost like someone just walked past me. Even though the doors are shut, ceiling fan is off, and windows are shut.
truelove, maybe check your insulation :) Next time you feel a gust a wind, stick your leg out or shove the spirit. If you hear a loud thud as it hits the ground, check out:)
