Pets aren't people. Pets can't consent to sex let alone marriage. "Consenting adults" isn't a clear enough line for you???

That hasn't stopped ppl from having sexual contact with animals

What's that have to do with what rights gay people should have? You aren't proposing banning all state marriage, so what does animal rape have to do with this discussion at all? Do you have evidence that gay people are more likely to rape animals?

Marriage is about love between a man and woman. If we redefine marriage for gays it can and will be redefined for animals as well. It's just not natural. It in my opinion is something your born with like Tourette's or aspburgers.

If gays can get married animal lover extremists may think it's ok to marry animals they love. Redefining marriage will be a principle for the sake of love even pets.

Why would it ever extend to animals? Animals cannot enter into legally binding contracts. Gay people can.

Animals are property so you do with them as you like unless of course it's animal abuse

Sex with animals IS animal abuse and, again, animals can't enter into contracts. State marriage is a contract. "Adult humans" is a pretty clear dividing line, no matter how many times you want to make irrelevant and inapposite comparisons.
