Fox News- Fair and Balanced?
I do think people should take a second and realise that the talk shows on fox are of course slanted. They admit it, they're conservative editorial shows. But what about the actual news programs? I'd say they're no more slanted than any other network. They all have an agenda.
Fairer than MSNBC
Where is the "hell NO" option. At least mnbc doesn't lie about being biased
Now do one for NPR
Nobody listens to NPR dude. Lol it's not on tv so I don't care.
Haha, the leftist up here eat it up. The most absurdly overt left wing propaganda machine and none of them admit it.
We don't have that here or don't listen to it.
FOX = too conservative
CNN = too liberal
CNN isn't really that liberal. They are but not as liberal as Fox is conservative.
It's only " fair and balanced" to conservatives.
As slanted as CNN NBC abc CBS
Wow that's hilariously ignorant.
I see we came with open minds
Its good to get your news from a lot of sources on different sides of issues. I can't usually watch fox news for more than a few minutes without wanting to throw something heavy at my TV though.
You can't see it but I'm laughing my ass off.
You're welcome. ;)
I'm reminded of the line from The Blues Brothers.
"Oh we've got both kinds! Country AND Western!"
????Were a little bit country ???? and a little bit rock n roll ????????
I think their purpose of fair and balanced is in relation to the media as a whole ad other news stations tend to go left. However, alone, they are a cheerleader for the GOP.
I like Fox News about 75% of the time, the other 25% of the time they are way to far to the right for me.
Yeah but everything is to conservative for you
Not sue if ANY of them are "fair," let alone "balanced," but that one is worse than trash, in my opinion.
MSNBC doesn't claim to be "fair and balanced"
Well Fox had plenty of liberal contributors/ guest on their shows. And Hannity and O'Reilly are not news shows, they are opinion shows.
Keep sucking the sack
Florida, you have a lot of learning to do.
No it's true Fox is just as bad as MSNBC.
Something like 60:8 give or take a few, republicans to democrats appear on that show. And the dems they have are not really big name democrats and they often allow fox to "push" them around. Watch OutFoxed. It'll open your mind.
I never said fox was good, it's incredibly biased. I'm just pointing out that there are also many liberal networks.
Yeah but they're marketed as such. Lol we watch it because it's liberal. Fox lies and tried to tell people that they aren't an arm of the Republican Party.
Helllllll no hahahahaha. I can't name a media source that is
Fox News: Rich people paying rich people to tell middle-class people to blame poor people.
Well put, Jen. Well put.
I like that, I'm going to use that now.
Thanks for the laugh!
John stewart says it best when he calls Fox the propaganda arm of the republican party
John Stewart is awesome. When the court jester is the most honest "news person" you know you're in a messed up spinning world.
I recently watched his debate w/ Bill O'Reilly and became convinced he would win if he ran for office
He'd have my vote.
If fox is the propaganda arm of the Republican Party, then John Stewart is the propaganda arm of the democrat party.
John Stewart? President! You want a comedian in the White House! (Sounds like a good movie)
Skinner you clearly don't watch Stewart... He rips everyone regardless of party. Two days ago he spent almost 10 minutes ripping Obama over the VA
I watch John Stewart almost every morning before I go to school while I'm eating breakfast! Although I haven't watched him in like a month. When he makes fun or republicans he tries to make a point, when he makes fun of dems (which is rare) its almost playful.
Not even close!
Fox News is not, and neither is MSNBC. But MSNBC doesn't incorrectly label themselves as "Fair and Balanced."
Yeah. Msnbc is honest. "We're biased!" Lol
