Do you usually dress to blend in or stand out?
I hope people aren't blending in to fit in because you shouldn't give a crap what other people think where whatever you wanna wear!!
I dress to suit myself and don't worry about what others think. Because I love historical-themed clothing (Egyptian collars or bell-sleeved peasant tops, for example) I probably stand out, but that is not the intent.
another poll that needs a race filter
@Caleb- were or wear? Your spelling stands out! Lol
Boots, jeans & a Harley tee- does that stand out?!
Haha @jlopez9090, I was about to say the same thing. I dress to stand out, but just to stand out a little.
I put stand out. But to clarify: just barely stand out
I hate being like everyone else
I'm a boy,and I were a pink shirt and skinny jeans often.stand out?
I am the only girl in my class that's a tomboy... So I don't mean to dress to stand out, but I guess I do, accidentally.
Both. Bold clothes that are in style. :D
lime green nikes
I dress how I want but it seems that I stand out because I always wear a skirt or dress
I just dress how I want, I do not care how others see me, but I end up blending in more than standing out.
People who wear clothes to fit in are followers.
People who wear clothes to stand out are begging for attention
Look good for the girls! Stand out!
I dress the way I want to (I don't know anything about fashion) but I usually stand out. blending in is boring anyhow.
Being a hipster comes with a price.
I dress not to be mainstream.
stand out. I love experimenting with makeup colors and wearing hippie clothes. I don't fit into our rural little town, or any big NC cities, save for asheville
I kind of blend in. We have a no jeans policy, so most ppl dress in dress shirt/tie. I wear polo shirts, but still no jeans
Fashion design major = stand out. People either hate or love my clothes. I'm okay with it.
love Hawaiian shirts!
Interesting question, but I think there is a broad spectrum. I dress for work in nice suits, but like to add vibrant colors to mix it up. So there is a combination of both.
I dress to be myself?
well i wore superman socks yesterday so stand out I believe
If I wanted to stand out I wouldn't get dressed at all.
I hate hollister... No offense just sayin
Hmmmm... Never really thought about do I dress to blend in or stand out. Neither I guess. I wear what I want to wear. I don't care what the fashion blogs say, if I wanna wear it, I will! I don't dress to please the world, I dress to please myself!
Neither really. Shorts & a tshirt.
Haven't thought about it lately. I dress to be comfortable and look nice.
I was about to post the same exact thing. :)
I don't consciously try to blend in. I just wear what I like but that tends to be pretty casual so it rarely stands out.
Piepiecake: I think the question is asking if your intent is to stand out or not? If you are the only one wearing those brands then you are trying to stand out. If everyone is wearing it then you are blending in.
Hollister is blending in. To the umpteenth degree.
I dont dress like a clown or costumy or anything. But when i show up i usually have a big flower or feather fascinator in my hair and clothes that no one else is wearing. Always tastefully done
someone answer my question
Definitely depends on the situation
It definitely depends on the occasion, but in general I don't really think about blending in or standing out... I just wear whatever's cute and comfy :)
I hate when I go to an occasion not knowing what's appropriate and ending up under/over dressed! suits or sandals, i like looking good within the frame. I've been slacking lately tho.
I don't exactly stand out or blend in; I just kind of dress how I do, and it's usually quite different from how others dress. If I get any attention on how something looks, though, it's almost always good. I own a lot of things that not many others have or wear.
Standing out isn't always a good thing. Sometimes people stand out to their detriment. But I think that people should wear what they want.
is Hollister and stuff like that blending in or standing out?same with Jordans
Neither. I dress to dress, because nakedness isn't socially acceptable.
Um, neither? This is....it's really a bad poll question. I wear what I like and what flatters my figure. I don't dress in crazy, daring, or weird out fits but I don't make a point to fit in with or keep up with current trends. I don't want to blend in OR stand out. I'm just me, I guess.
