Cant really stop the cats, they do what they want

It's a simple logic problem.
Pets aren't as tall as we are.
Pets are for snuggling.
Therefore, unless you want to get on the floor with them, you have to let them up on the furniture with you. 🐾

They have their own sofa. It’s leather. They can’t hurt it.

I don’t have an issue with them being on the furniture… Though I do prefer that it’s a non-shedding animal, but that’s a personal preference.
