Are you going to try Yahoo's new "Axis" mobile web browser?
Try out a buggy service loaded with malware provided by the one the only yahoo? Sure! What's the worst that could happen??
not a chance
Just stick with gmail
Yahoo is a waste of time!! Just get gmail!
Never heard of it. I'll give it a try. :)
Stay loyal to google.
I'll stick with the allies :)
I said no as soon as I saw yahoo.
As I am not a fascist, I will not join the axis.
I didn't know until now
it was OK but it had probs
Firefox is my choice or chrome
The only yahoo thing I really like is yahoo answers. Other than that it seems outdated.
all time absolute favorite browsers.
Well, I was going to, but it said to tell it that I was 18 or older because of "age restricted content", as all browsers from the app store I've tried said, and since I'm not over 18 and don't want to lie, I said "Nope". That's the end of that. On my Mac though, Chrome, Safari, and Firefox are my…
I love Google Chrome. I won't use anything else. It's perfect!
@jmofwiw debating which toilet paper is much more interesting than this discussion. I am sick of Walmart one ply in their bathrooms it is the worst. You can't even get a hand full before it tears off the roll.
I did, but couldn't see the benefit in it. the little toolbar it puts in the bottom left corner of you screen is also annoying. I got rid of it within 24 hours.
Yahoo...so 90's. Just like AOL and their CD's. old and busted
Eh didn't like it
I'm all about the allies
So the answer to the poll question is "yes"; the answer to the yahoos at Yahoo is the same as it's been for over 15 years when they were getting beat by Alta Vista and Metacrawler: "no".
Yahoo has sucked forever.
Tried it for the last few hours, read/watched the tutorials, tried the features that didn't involve "logging in" with Yahoo, deleted it. My take is it's different, not better.
Tried it, hated it, deleted it, simple as that.
Downloading it now so I hd to come change my vote to yes.
just downloaded it
Um no thanks
Never heard if it...
never heard of it and don't know what it does
I tried it, but didn't like it. Easier to use a normal browser.
41th! xD. heehee
Definitely. Added the Axis app on iPad. Nice. Best part is it isn't from microsoft.
Debating which browser is the best is about as interesting as what toilet paper is best.
Would've until I read pcworld's review.
Messing with it right now. So far, kinda nifty.
Just took a glance - too much clutter.
I stay with Safari and Atomic as backup.
As search engine I have bing - it gets me more results on images than google or yahoo.
Yahoo Schmahoo, nope.
I've been trying it on he iPad, and it's OK so far, but a little clunky like Safari is on a Windows desktop system. My very limited first look verdict: it's no worse than Bing and worth a more extended trial. I doubt I'll install the plug-in on my desktop though.
I tried and it's actually pretty cool. It doesn't force everything to the mobile site.
@itsjustme you'll get the same warning from the some of the craigslist apps and a a few others. It just means the app may not honor the parental restrictions built in to the iOS or censor the results to be kid friendly. You'll find what you search for (as much as you ever do with Yahoo).
when I loaded it on my iPhone.... I got the... sensitive information, are you under 17 years old..... What is this all about.
*idk what that is!*
I would try it (and will when I can) but I'm still on iOS 4.2.1 an apparently you need 4.3. I'm surprised, it actually looks pretty cool.
@pinkyyousu exactly what I meant. Well put!
Already tried it. It has potential. Don't know if I'll make a complete switch but glad to see Yahoo do something to dig themselves out of their innovation ditch.
