It can easily be proven. The astronauts left reflectors on the moon; you can shoot a laser beam, hit the reflector, and the beam will reflect a few seconds later, thus also proving the moon’s distance (given the speed of light constant).
So why is there a shadow
A shadow occurs when a translucent or opaque body obstructs light from hitting a surface.
If anyone would like to prove we didn’t go to the moon it would be the Russians.
