New York City consists of 5 boroughs: Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Staten Island. Have you been to (or passed through) all 5 boroughs?
Nope. I think just Manhattan and Brooklyn. I'm usually completely lost in New York and have been to a few places I had no idea where I was.
Four of the five, I think. I don’t think I was ever on State Island.
All but staten.
Lived in Brooklyn. As a kid walked the Brooklyn and Manhattan often. Took the Brooklyn ferry to Staten Island then to Manhattan. Took a train to the Bronx Zoo and Yankee Stadium. Queens was an Aunts house.
Yes, I have!
Went through Queens and Manhattan when I first came to this country, and made it to the rest on vacations over the years. When I lived in Massachusetts, it was easy to get over to NYC.
I ❤️ ny
Oh never been to Staten Island.
Lived my first 34 years of life in Brooklyn. Been to every borough countless times. I ❤️NY!
My first 20 were in Queens.
I practically lived in Shea Stadium!
I’ve been to more Mets games than any other team. I grew up in Whitestone so it was just down the expressway a bit.
Cool! My cat’s name is Shea.
No, I haven’t been near any of them.
I lived in Brooklyn for two years but I’m pretty sure I’ve never been to Staten Island aside from driving through it on 95.
I’ve definitely been to all of the others.
If you traveled over the Verrazano Bridge, you’ve been to SI.
Have you been over the bridge? LOL sorry. I worded it weird.
I figured it out! 95 goes over the GW in the Bronx. 287 goes over the Verazano. I’ve been on 287 when I lived in Brooklyn so I’ve been to SI!
I voted no because I’m not sure if I’ve ever been in the Bronx.
Have you been on any of the bridges?
GW, Brooklyn, Verrazano
I have never been outside LaGuardia airport.
I never even got that close. I've never been near New York.
Fuck New York
Never been to Staton island
Staten damn auto correct
You weren’t missing much.
All but Staten Island. On my class trip in 1964 we went to Manhattan but also to the World’s Fair in Flushing Meadows, so that accounts for Queens. I’ve visited friends in Manhattan and the Bronx. I know I’ve been to Brighton Beach and walked from there to the beach at Coney Island, so that accounts for Brooklyn. (Probably spent some other time there too but I can’t remember for sure.)
I grew up there, so yes.
And for those who are curious, I-95 passes through Manhattan and the Bronx, so if you went from NJ to CT, or vice versa, via the GW Bridge, you went through both boroughs.
Also FYI, two of the boroughs are on Long Island (Queens and Brooklyn). The only borough on the mainland is the Bronx.
