Did you ever have beads on your bike’s wheels?
Just playing cards on spokes
Such a popular trend
We used playing cards on the spokes to make a motor sound.
I never saw anyone do that before this poll. I liked the clicking of the beads sliding around and my horn. The bells are cute too.
Maybe beads came after playing cards. I think you are younger than I am.
It started in the 80s
I think so. I definitely would wedge a twig so it hit the spokes. The sound was the sound of my engine when I was pretending I was driving a car, not a bike. 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
lol that’s pretty creative
That's why we used playing cards
Playing cards in the spokes.

Nope, I remember a basket and a horn but no beads. Why did I have a horn? It’s embarrassing to think of now but I was extremely proud of that bike. Again, why did I have a horn?
I had a horn too. I loved it. My brother got it for me. He insisted I have one. I guess it’s just for fun. 🤷🏻♀️
Nope Cards in the spokes
I never heard of that before
No, I never did.
My first bike was pink and white with streamers on the handles and pink and white beads in the tires. It made noises as the beads moved around. My brother put a horn on it too. I rode it until I was too tall for it.
That sounds like a decked out bike. Mine was just plain.
My Dad had visitation after the divorce and got it for me. I rode it for years until my legs were too long. It had training wheels but it didn’t take long for me to learn to ride it without them.
No, just playing cards and baloons.
On your wheels?
