2 years ago we signed a lifetime contract with an insurance broker to recommend the best health care policy for us each year but it has now merged with another LLC and wants a new contract fee but shouldn't merged mean it keeps its promises?

Wouldn’t this merger make that contract null and void?

A buyout would. But a merger shouldn't. What I think is happening. Is they sign contracts and then form a new LLC every couple of years to null and void their previous contracts. Then people are out the money and get sucked into repaying the same type of contract.

Had a similar case. Kept my contract. Sued and won.

That sounds kind of sketchy to me.
