“I do not believe the United States should ask other countries to engage in selective, politically associated investigations or prosecutions against opponents of those in power, ...” — George Kent
You mean like the Dems did in 2016?
I agree with George Kent in principle but there are times when corruption needs to be exposed.
This one is legitimate. Biden said so himself when he bragged and confessed.
If anything was true about the Bidens, I’d be perfectly happy to see Uncle Joe and Don the Con bunking together in your neck of the woods... in Leavenworth KS. 😉
Our forefathers added impeachment for this very reason.
This is just dem framing / spin of what happened.
Agree, but that isn’t what he did. He asked for them to restart the investigations into burisma that then VP Biden extorted Ukraine to halt and fire the prosecutor, and then bragged about on video.
It was not about Biden and 2020 dirt
Oh you people can’t even get your false narratives right. Shall I help you? #1 The 2016 “Crowdstrike” cover story is that Trump was simply continuing the Mueller investigation by seeking the mythical unicorn email server that is supposed to contain evidence that Ukraine, not Russia, was behind the 2016 election interference.
#2 the Trump only cares about fighting corruption false narrative where the important points are to avoid any mention of explicitly seeking investigations into the Bidens or Burisma. This is why the White House edited out those things from the transcript of the call. You just admitted to the fact that Trump specifically requested investigations into Burisma!! Oops!
You live in fantasy land
Super, you forgot #3: the reason Biden demanded removal of the Ukrainian prosecutor was that the guy was corrupt. He was backed by the UN and umpteen Western allies.
Ah yes, but my list was a tutorial on the Republican false narratives. Your #3 is the plain truth... that is strictly prohibited in today’s GOP! 😱
The full quote: “I do not believe the United States should ask other countries to engage in selective, politically associated investigations or prosecutions against opponents of those in power, because such selective actions undermine the rule of law regardless of the country.”
So it would be OK if it was a member of your party, but not an opposition party? Just trying to understand if there is a point of separation between the 2 groups.
You already know the answer to that.
