Some euro country have free college and healthcare and exc because they have high taxes on regular people as much as 42-50% of their income. Would you support this tax increase?

I would. Yet again I'm an American European. 😅. 40% tax I would not mind. Depends on the type of lifestyle you want. One where you don't have to worry about anything but you give up economic liberties or the other a fast pace life in which everybody is for themselves.

Do you understand the percentage of taxes paid in, let’s say Germany, today?

Yes I do, but the income tax for me is usually one of the higher ones so eitherway we pay a lot in taxes. For example my family in France pay 45% income taxes.

The average is about 32% ish I would say. I thought he was referring to the top tax rates which I'm included in so I know what he meant by his given range. But still I don't mind being taxed if there is efficient programs. Unfortunately the US lacks that type of clarity in healthcare and education therefore I'm always against tax increase in the U.S since the benefits you would get are minimal to the cost of high taxes.

Somewhat agreed, I expect my own taxes to go up but I personally advocate a flat 50% rate on all income including just a penny you pick up on the street
