Who do you think should win the Democratic Party nomination for president?
Where is Tulsi????
Yang, if I HAVE TO pick one
Where is Gabbard?
Yang Gang 2020
The boomer fears Yang
Once again Tulsi is for Medicare for All and UBI.Watch "Tulsi Gabbard Endorses Universal Basic Income | Yang Gabbard 2020?" on YouTube
None of them should win!!! Trump 2020!!!
Biden so the dems can’t win 🤷🏻♂️
Most of them are openly socialist so none of them!
28% say Biden...omg...lmaoooo Why???
Biden is a tool. Warren and Sanders would break this country even more than trump has. Which would be absolutely amazing that anyone could rack up more debt than him.
Bernie Sanders is the only politician I have ever heard of who is truly not bought by anyone. If Trump and the DNC hate him he must be doing something right.
Trump is it. He may not like them but he isn’t bought
There are only two reasons to like him.
1: He is not bought by anyone.
2: He is honest about his socialist agenda.
There is far more reason for an American to not like him than to like him.
Seriously, you honestly think trump is on the level.
Of course. The man’s physiologically incapable of keeping a secret.
Buttigieg lecturing us about his view of Christianity - which he puts a political spin on (including abortion rights) - is crazy.
I think it is important for Christianity to modernize and start incorporating abortion and lgbtq rights.
Gotta stay hip and support abortion? Um, not into it.
Hey Smacky, will you demand Islam modernize and accept Israel?
I guess we have different definitions of “modernize.”
Israel IS a country. Abortion IS the willful killing of human life in the womb.
Call me old fashioned.
Then being old fashioned you should realize it’s not your problem or decision.
Not my problem if a fellow innocent person is murdered? Hmm.
Don’t agree with you, but 👌🏻
“I think it is important for Christianity to modernize and start incorporating abortion and lgbtq rights.”
God doesn’t. He got it right the first time.
Christian law isn’t about catering to the public id, it’s about serving God’s will. If you did that, it wouldn’t be Christianity, it’d be an abomination.
The only authentic candidates are Bernie and Tulsi. The rest are fake as hell and only say what the polls tell them they should say. All are terrible for America.
And so is the current administration
Republicans want Biden because he’s an idiot.
Or maybe because he doesn't want to end the first and second amendments or turn the U.S. into a socialist disaster.
Actually that’s why I voted for Warren. It would be like another Reagan
I find it interesting that Libertarians favor Yang. I wouldn’t expect them to be fans of UBI.
I'm not one of them but it makes sense to me. UBI has been argued by some libertarians as a way to drastically reduce the size of the government. It of course assumes all existing hand outs go away.
Yeah has anyone actually crunched the numbers on that?
They do NOT go away..its in addition to.
This book by a libertarian argues it can be done, will save money, improve lives for those currently receiving benefits and those not eligible. He claims he has done the math and as the U.S. gets richer it makes more and more sense.
Fitz yes I have my doubts too. The liberals just want yet another hand out.
The whole Democratic field is full of idiots.
NONE OF THEM
the democrats are screwed for this election 😅
I can’t imagine voting for any of them.
Even their now media pushed so-called electable one, Buttigieg, is primarily left and is nowhere near center on most all issues.
None are in the center but neither is trump. Any republicans that dems may get on board with are shit on by republicans (ex McCain; Kasich; hell, even Romney was the gov of MA). Both sides are moving to extremes.
Paranoid - Trump doesn’t push for massive government takeover of healthcare, peddling more free stuff for votes, take away 2nd amendment rights. Open borders. “Hate” speech laws.
All of the democrats are pushing for all of those.
Yeah he just says things that are stupid and has no discernible plan for healthcare.
I don’t vote Democrat - ever - but anyone with any common sense has either dropped out or ostracized by that party., John Delaney and Tulsi Gabbard to be specific!
I liked John....and Hickenlooper. :-/
If you stupid people pick Biden I'm not voting! Why vote for a do nothing Centrist? Progressives probably won't be able to fix everything but they will at least try! Pick him and you will lose the progressive vote! Hillary 2.0
Sounds good to me!! Go Biden, no progressive votes!!
Hillary 2.0? That sounds awesome.
I haven't been following too closely but I haven't seen anything I don't like from Buttigieg yet. I'd be interested if anyone knows something negative about him.
Watch "Tulsi Gabbard Endorses Universal Basic Income | Yang Gabbard 2020?" on YouTube
She has always endorsed Medicare for All & UBI why do people keep ignoring that?
The democrat lineup is a clown shoot. Bloomberg is the only one I would consider voting for
29% who have answered the question have chosen Biden, the moderate Democrats are speaking.
Many of them are republicans, they give him 40%. Dems only give him 17%.
Warren is a clear winner with the Dems 29%.
And that is just scary how the Democrats has followed socialism right down the drain. I don’t understand how 30 years ago, socialism and communism were bad......now it’s a common staple for the Democrats.
Not all Democrats, the true Democrats have gone silent.
They are complicit in it, because they will almost certainly vote for the Dem nominee.
Yah, Vote for the most inauthentic candidate in the Democrat field, great idea!
Not to mention as far left as you can without recommending building gulags.......yet.
My boi Pete
If they elect a socialist, Trump will win again. Bad planning.
She's actually very smart and has american value. Today's Democrats don't like that, that's why she's not on the top 5. One thing I didn't like was she was obviously dodging questions that Sean Hannity was asking her about Joe Biden and his son. That's one thing that pisses me tf off. Both on the right and left.
And she is polling better than kolbar(whateverthefuckthatis) and Harris but again left out another poll.
I picked harris because she would have no chance
Is there a reason you singled our Harris as the one candidate that doesn’t have a chance?
Because she is out of the running and would get destroyed.
So you think the admitted socialist candidates have a better chance of winning than Harris? Interesting.
Shes just an idiot, they are dangerous
This user is currently being ignored
She was elected as AG, not appointed you dumb ass.
Harris is ineligible. If the election committee would do their fucking jobs for a change, perhaps they’d inform Ms. Hoover that she’s ineligible.
Me in 2016 - no good Dems, am I *really* going to vote for Trump just so Clinton loses by less? In NY state - worth it
Me in 2020 - well, guess I have to vote for him again. DNC is bunch of morons. In Georgia my vote actually matters.
I know, doesn't you feel way more pressure being in a state that matters? You can't imagine how stressed this election is making me now that I'm a Wisconsinite.
The benefit of living in non-competitive states was not having to see ads - Im not ready to get blasted by them.
You are still blasted with them during the primaries
States Ive lived in were always so late in Primaries (and relatively small prizes for the particular election) that ive largely avoided them.
I don’t think any of them are a good candidate.
Ibid. chose Biden to get here. Did you hear about Bama losing yesterday? 😮
I chose Biden to get here, too.
My take on the Bama game: Bama didn’t come to play; LSU did.
The refs were horrible, but Bama beat themselves.
That said, I’m Tide & True!
I would take any of them over the current president.
That's what someone from tucson would say
Seriously? Not a good way to look at it.
Tucsonsoh, I understand how you feel, but going from really bad to even worse isn’t worth it.
It all depends on what you want to get out of it:
A boring general election: Biden
Good joke/meme material: Warren
Civil War: Bloomberg
Police state: Harris
Collapse the federal government: Sanders
Nothing bad to say about Klobuchar, huh?
“Good joke/meme material”
I’ll go this one
Klobucher isn’t a serious candidate.
Yang isn’t either but at least he wants to give people money to buy guns every month 🤔
Why all the whining about Tulsi..she is for Medicare for all....and UBI...
So are we just supposed to ignore that Bloomberg is somehow included in this poll when Gabbard and several others actually have real supporters and backing by polls?
Where is tulsi gabbard? She’s got my vote
Who cares...they all are a bunch on nut jobs..!!!
If Dems want a shot, they’d better pick a moderate.
Exactly, but I’m afraid the millennials like these ideas of “free” stuff to much.
Buttigieg 2020! 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Why are you leaving out Gabbard, one the only sane ones
Probably because she’s barely polling above 1% and they could only fit so many.
anjrued She’s polling higher than that. And then Bloomberg somehow gets included over her??
Tulsi is polling better than Booker, and he’s included.
No she isn’t. RCP has Biden, Warren, Buttigieg, Sanders, Harris, Klobuchar, Booker, Yang, Gabbard, in that order. Tulsi is polling the same as Beto, and he dropped out.
Bloomberg is included because his possible candidacy is in the news and could significantly shake things up. I’m guessing the point of this poll was to see how the inclusion of Bloomberg would change things.
Says a lot about dems these days, she is the most qualified candidate to be the president, even more so than Trump.
Yang seems surprisingly popular with Libertarians and Republicans.
Agree it’s odd, too much to be random. Maybe he’s the one they know the least. When you don’t like any of them who do you pick.
TomM or maybe he just makes the most sense to be a bipartisan candidate and heterodox in his platform?
Good joke material. He wants to give everyone $1000/month to buy guns.
In all honesty, if you look into his UBI plan it does make some sense, but it’s certainly not libertarian-friendly as it’s practically the purest form of socialism. Taxing automation (which is the true job thief, not immigrants) will both offer relief to those who have lost their job to tech, and could incentivize companies to hire people instead of machines.
anjrued I believe some libertarians might like the way he implements his version of UBI, where it can offset certain cash-based welfare programs in order to opt-in to receiving the dividend. Plus, it gives people the ability to choose how to allocate those funds how they think it will work for them best, instead of being dictated when, where, and how to spend it.
I truly believe the Freedom Dividend would be an awesome policy. I think it would change a lot of lives and improve the quality of life for most Americans, but I also think it has a snowball’s chance in hell of ever becoming a law since it would be branded by the right as a socialist hellscape.
anjrued While I am a Republican, I have watched the Democratic debates and something Buttigieg had mentioned at one point that I actually agreed with was, “It's true that if we embrace a far left agenda, they're going to say we're a bunch of crazy socialists. If we embrace a conservative agenda, you know what they're going to do? They're going to say we're a bunch of crazy socialists.” My party at large has utterly lost the meaning of what actually constitutes “socialism,” and because of that I believe our party is utterly losing the fight for longevity and the ability to gain traction with future voters because we just scream “socialism!” at everything we don’t like instead of actually trying to win debates on policy like adults.
“Taxing automation (which is the true job thief, not immigrants) will both offer relief to those who have lost their job to tech, and could incentivize companies to hire people instead of machines.”
See this is why we never should have gotten rid of the Horse and Buggy Union. So many jobs got lost when that union got busted. Sad. We should bring those jobs back
You’ve kind of made my point for me, unwittingly. There’s an argument to be made that the invention of the car helped foster the Great Depression. There was a sudden shift in the way people spent money. Not only did buggy dealers go bust, so did the peripheral jobs, such as stables and horse shit street cleaners. It wasn’t an optimal situation at the time. Eventually it led to a massive leap in our economy, but it took a while and a lot of hardship to get there. Hopefully the UBI could stifle some of the hardships caused by this century’s inevitable encroaching jobs crisis.
What exactly was this point I made for you? That cars shouldn’t have been invented?
Yeah, stealing money from people and then giving some of it back definitely isn’t a libertarian/peace-friendly idea, haha
Someone other than any of these idiots.
But anyone not in any of those slots couldn’t be listed because s/he’s a Republican. 😂😂😂
Keep in mind, should doesnt mean the one you think will
What a shit show.
Whoever acceleates the collapse more
