When someone says Asian, you are more likely to think of... A. An Indian (from country of India) or Pakistani person. B. A Chinese person.
I differentiate by saying Indian , Malay, or Oriental
I don’t think that India or Pakistan are considered to be in Asia, are they? They weren’t when I was in school.
What continent do you think they’re a part of? Europe or Africa?
Pakistan is definitely far west enough to be in the Middle East.
What would you call Russia that goes from Germany to Alaska? It’s euro Asian?
The Middle East isn’t a continent. Russia is a transcontinental country... 77% of Russia's area is in Asia, the western 23% of the country is in Europe.
My B.A. In Geography says they are most definitely in Asia.
East Asian rather than South Asian.
Chinese, Japanese, Filipino, Vietnamese... in approximately the order of how many I have worked with/studied with/lived with &/or among.
Where I live, most of the Asian people are from Vietnam.
East asian, more so.
Indian because of my boyfriend.
