You’re missing out

I’m not missing anything, except feeling out of control of my body, hung over, the opportunity to accidentally kill someone or myself, and the great possibility that I would be an alcoholic.

My mother was an alcoholic that blew her brains out with a shotgun when she was 39 and I was 19 and pregnant with our 2nd child. It’s SHE that is missing out on our children’s lives! It’s my KIDS that never got to know their grandmother.

I pity those that think they have to drink to have a good time!

My apologies, my comment was made mostly as a joke, but I didn’t realize it would be insensitive.

Thanks so much, Schitz. I wasn’t offended.....just letting you know why I don’t drink, and that I think it’s sad that there are a lot of people that seem to think they HAVE to drink to have a good time, or even to make it through the weekend or the day!
