That’s hard. As someone who worked for the federal government for a number of years, I can understand why they need more protection. It could also protect from the leaking of classified information and compromise. It would be hard to change this policy.

I’m pretty sure Feds can lie under oath too. There is more to why than should they or shouldn’t they.
