One of the duties of the President is to enforce laws. If someone broke a law should the President be able to ask for them to be investigated?

MrT and his 2016 campaign BROKE NO LAWS and yet the sitting president, the corrupt MrO, colluded with MrT’s rival campaign, that is the Madame of Corruption, Ms Clinton, to try to manufacture dirt on MrT so they could steal the 2016 election from the American people.

Thankfully MrO failed in his attempt to use a deliberately false investigation to overcome the will of the people. It turns out that MrO and Ms Clinton are not as powerful as they thought ... thankfully!

We must learn from this attempted coop, and never left these regressive leftists into power again.

Not to a foreign country, no.

The DOJ can launch an independent investigation if they have grounds. Ukraine can choose to cooperate or not. There should not be any coercion involved in that, especially when an official investigation was never approved. That makes it personal.

The President has that ability according to the Constitution.

Sure, but at the same time, a president is not above the law.

If the President asked someone to investigate a crime he is doing his job. No matter who the criminal was/is.

The former VP can be investigated if he’s done something wrong. It is inappropriate, however, to ask a foreign government’s assistance on a quid pro quo basis.

HBNY, it’s a good thing according to the transcripts Trump didn’t do that.

Is that what I said?

All I said was that the president is not above the law. Conservatives seem to have trouble processing that. (They have trouble processing a LOT of things... science, simple facts, evidence, etc.)

According to the transcript what law did the President break?

Science? Really? That’s funny coming from the folks that believe if a man says he is a woman he magically turns Into one.

And evidence? Do you mean like all the evidence that shows the DNC,the Clinton campaign, Obama, etc. paid a foreign agent and colluded with a foreign government to effect the 2016 election? That kind of evidence?

So once again, all I said was that the president is not above the law. Man, you’re dense. Good luck in life.
