1) they aren't trying to get the opinion of 300 million Americans the only one anyone cares about is voting Americans. And 1,000 is the set number for most scientific polls to accurately express demographics

2) I doubt you know the phone habits of every person you know.

3) I'm working class that works 50 hrs a week, I still have conducted many phone polls... So your anecdotal evidence really means anything

Riiight, 1000 is perfectly accurate. Look at every poll from 2015/2016. None of them were right. Yet here you all are claiming polls are always accurate.

A poll asking 1000 people a question will get you the answers of 1000 people. Not 1001 people and not one, two, or three hundred million people.

They don’t need to poll equal percentages of each group for it to be a representative poll. They use a process called “weighting” which makes it unnecessary. What other issues do you have?

Fox is not conservative. It never had been. It is a moneymaker for Murdoch because it is the only network that attempts to cover some conservative content. The owners and channel are left. It’s been that way for 20 years. The Republicans still think neocons and RINOs are the bee’s knees and you think they can see beneath the surface of Fox? You can’t even see it, but I wouldn’t expect you to see beneath the surface of someone shoved your head beneath it.

The weighting is to counteract bias.

They're weighted to the left because there was more democrats than Republicans ...
In the last 30 years there has only been one presidential election where a republican won the popular vote...
