All the Laker haters in this thread are so arrogant and ignorant of their own arguments. Been a Laker fan all my life. Lakers are winning the trophy this year. Book it.

That's true. But in the end it's all about championships. No one remembers the players just the team. Michael Jordan and who else? Pippen maybe and then who? Larry bird and who?

They used to be the Minnesota Lakers I believe.
I can't speak to the Clippers, and I'm not sure I want to. Best leave it to the imagination?

Just thinking, what is a laker, what is a clipper? A laker is one who enjoys lakes and a clipper is one who performs circumcisions? Excuse my east coast ignorance. I am from jersey!

As long as Kobe plays for the Lakers, I will cheer for whoever they play against. That guy is the biggest douche canoe. Ever.

I know the Clip's are performing off the chain right now, but I'm staying with the Lake Show. From southern Cal, and been a Laker's fan, since my dad told me I was!

And all clippers fans besides clipper Darryl are badwagoners. It was only after Chris Paul and Blake Griffin that people started caring about them. The lakers will always have fans no matter how bad they do.

No matter how good the clippers are in one season they will always be nothing more than the clippers. They will always be the lesser of the two. The lakers could go 0-82 and they would still be the team of L.A.

There has been and continues to be only ONE team in LA and that is the LA Lakers. Anyone who lives is LA understands this fact and I feel sorry for any other basketball team that pretends to be a LA NBA team. LA only has room for one team!

When I think of the Lakers I think of the glory days of "Showtime," with Magic, Byron Scott, McAdoo, Cooper, Worthy, Rambis, Kupchak, and of course the greatest ever, Kareem. And best of all, Chick Hearn calling the games on KTLA...
