A simple income tax proposal: (1) Eliminate itemization, (2) Reduce # of brackets to 3, (3) Tax capital gains as ordinary income, (4) Eliminate the AMT, (5) Increase the SD ($18k, $36k), (6) MFJ rates of 15% ($0-$60k), 25% ($60k-$180k), 37% ($180k+)
