Tomorrow, Trump will sign a bipartisan gov funding bill that does not pay for his wall. As he tries to spin a loss into a "win," we'll see Trump flail from the biggest break of the GOP in Congress with Trump to date. Without Mitch, Trump is nothing.

That one of the downfalls about having three branches of government.

It is shameful what the democrats are doing, and all their followers will have the blood of innocents on their hands.

Except the GOP in the Senate are weaklings and will fall in line with Trump.

The GOP in the senate don't follow Trump. They follow Mitch. Everything that happens is driven by him. Trump takes the credit, but it's totally Mitch that moves everything that moves forward forward. Go back and look. Mitch is leading this country.

I am frankly sick and tired of everyone in DC.
They are all conniving and duplicitous

Treasonturtle is the de facto potus right now. He has the power to over ride any veto...and impeach trump at will. For historical precedent....Barry Goldwater. Except Goldwater had integrity & conviction. MM is a spineless, money grubbing coward.

To an extent, I agree with you.... but he's also a ninja master politician. Did you see the shit he pulled in the floor? "Yes! Trump should declare an emergency! It's a great idea!"

Doing this he backs Trump into a corner pressuring him to declare an emergency, appears to be backing his base, while all the while recognizing there's zero chance of the funds going there, and when this fails it will further weaken Trump. That's some brilliant shit right there.

Gets what he wants, while duping those who will be angry when it fails will see him as a champion.

He's like an evil Gandalf wearing the ring of power.

Oh... without question...today was brilliant and he is an evil genius. However...his partisan politics and promotion of self interest is bad for America.

I should add...Pelosi & MM are masterful career politicians. Trump is an ignorant rube and a bully. He’s in way out of his league. The GOP tolerated him when they had the majority because he was their useful idiot. Now he’s less than a puppet.

Where Trump goes wrong is holding the illegals that are captured. He should be offering free transportation the city hall in LA.

Don’t get me wrong....I troll @shazam every chance I get and he enjoys it. But every now and then he says something intelligible. 😀🦑

The best trolling occurs when your mark doesn’t realize he has been trolled. ;-)

I guess this is a reasonable statement however, he does have access to a sufficient amount of money from several departments, which will make the bill unneeded, but this makes it so that the restrictions in the bill will be ignored and the Department of Homeland Security will have the final say in placement of barriers, not governors. But yes, Trump is somewhat inexperienced in politics and I respect Mitch greatly and he has done a lot for the Republican Party and for Donald Trump.

Another example of Mitch leading the nation. The man gets stuff done. Every change we've had since Trump was elected is due to his leadership. May disagree with his actions, but you can't argue with the effectiveness of the most powerful person in the country.

Maybe so, but a number of times he does it by setting dangerous precedents
