Think of all the music you own. Is the majority of it physical (record, tape, cd) or electronic (mp3, iTunes).
What I own is phisical, but I often just stream music.
99% of it is in mp3 form.
Gigs and gigs of mp3s.
I still purchase cds for any artist that I love and I back up all my digital to disk. I’ve lost my collection too many times to trust digital.
I back up my digital media to DVD-R, USB drives, and old externals.
It's electronic now but I had a very large CD collection for quite sometime.
I have 4 big books full of CD's.
I own a lot of CDs. I have about 300 songs on iTunes. I only put songs I love on iTunes.
Nearly even. I’ve converted every CD I own to digital, but then I remembered that I never actually finished the vinyl...and I think I might still have some 8-track lying around.....but I probably shouldn’t admit to that....
I used to be all cassette....haven’t had one in the house for years. My Mom still has stuff from the 60s on reel to reel. Those things are going straight in the trash when she’s gone.
Probably 75% physical. Most music was burned from my discs but I still have them. I steam.muaic but don't own any of it.
